Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) provides financial support to qualified Veterans who receive healthcare benefits and services through VAC’s health care programs.
VAC partners with Medavie Blue Cross (MBC), who registers healthcare service providers and processes claims for payment to the provider. Registered providers verify Veteran’s eligibility and where required, obtain authorization from VAC to provide the service or benefit.

For providers not registered with VAC, qualified Veterans are responsible to pay for their benefit or service directly to that provider. The Veteran then can submit original paid invoices/receipts for reimbursement to:
